Content is king - personalized content is his kingdom!

Everyone knows it - content is king, what would life be whitout it? Quit scary and really empty I guess. What would the web be whitout content? It´s a stupid question of course, but when you time after time reads about this theme we all have to understand that content is everything, it´s bigger than the king, it is his whole kingdom!

Okey, that´s for sure. But what about our own created personal content? How come the discussions isn´t more focused on what we bring with us to contribute to a better web. I´m not trying to say that there isn´t any discussions about this, I read for a couples of days ago a good post from Brian Solis about consuming or contribute of content, but I don´t see that many new services or platforms who makes it funny, easy and meaningful for people to be both consumers and creators.

There´s of course easy for anyone to set up a blog, and with services like Tumblr and other "easy web tools" Nowadays there's also some really nice photo sharing services out there like Picplz that is my favorite. But that´s it. If it´s easy to set up a blog it´s much more difficult to get on with the writing, you know exactly what I mean.

I´ve read somewhere that there is only 30% that are content providers on the internet. The rest of us "just" consume. There isn´t any problem with that if there wasn´t for the fact that people want to express themselfs, people like to communicate and like to contribute, that´s why we are social creatures.

I think that we´re gonna see some new great services when it comes to be a creator of content, not just a consumer. Traditional media has taken some steps in the right direction and the best example is Mashable that allows us to follow topics and be social, if you haven´t seen it take a look here. Then we have Flipboard who has made it possible for you to be fill your own magazine with sources that you trust and enjoy. Upon that they integrated your social networks and even though you don´t create content it feels like you have... and that´s enough in this case.

Another favorite of mine is paper.li who makes your own newspaper upon wich sources you follow on twitter. And it really works - the content that creates from the links that people and business that I follow publish on Twitter is exactly the things that I wanna read about. Try it!

If you like Facebook and Twitter but feel that the feed isn´t interesting enough, have hope cause there is gonna be changes - and that´s a promise!

Take care folks!

Share it! Like it! Then you can die!

World Premiere! Listandtell is alive and kick’n.

with our iPhone app, 2 web sites, investor meetings, team building and late night dinner discussions about social media, listandtell and life, we finally freak out totally and came up with this "great" idea for our promo clip – Share it! Like it! Then you can die! ;-)

That's how we feel right now – almost dead after 10 days in the summer heat of Santiago with our incredible team mates, knowing that a 30 h flight back to Europe is awaiting when we wake up tomorrow morning at 6.30 am.

We are, if possible, even more confident that we have "something big" rising with our social media platform listandtell.com and by the way, you are a part of a world premier – we are blogging on www.listandtell.com – how about that! If you wondered what Don Rodrigo had to do with, that´s the place for this post to be written. From now on you will be able to follow this project from it's original site and also to learn more about what is to be launched in the future, starting with the alpha version of listandtell, web and iPhone app, at the beginning of March.

After this weeks of animated discussions and awesome creative thinking we now can promise you all that we gonna give you a new and playful experience when you're adding the things that you care about into the magical world of the Ninjamonk!

Please give us your thoughts about the listandtell concept and you will find yourself on our "Love list". If you like what you see, also follow this journey on twitter and facebook.

Sharing is love – love ya right back!

Investment and concept site

Thinking about our site

Tonight we are working on listandtells concept site with main focus on investors but of course for everyone interested to know more about this new social media project.  The site will soon be public and you will then find it at www.listandtell.com. We keep you posted – promise.

Unfortunately tonights Meetup withStockholm Nightowls where canceled in the last minute and moved forward to 1st of February so we can’t blog, Bambuse or send tweets from that event tonight. Instead we joined forces at our special office – Monks Café & Brewery | Wallingatan 38 | Stockholm | Sweden to update and develop more cool stuff in to listandtell.com

See you around – Cheers!

Meeting with Connect Sweden

Searching for investors

Today we had our first meeting with Connect, a swedish organisation that makes a lot of activities in order to assist entrepreneurs in creating and developing new high-growth companies. Our concept listandtell.com are now a part of the  ”språngbrädeprogrammet”  whose  purpose  is to find investors for the potential growth companies.

We are excited about it and hope that it ultimately means that we get to meet a number of interested investors who want to become part of our global success. You can read more of Connects work here!
